Wild In Art - The Big Dog Art Trail

Public art events that entertain, enrich, inform and leave a lasting legacy.

Connecting businesses, artists and communities through the power of creativity, Wild in Art events have enabled more than £23.6 million to be raised for charitable causes through auctions alone and helped millions of people of all ages to experience art in non-traditional settings.

Our art trails provide a platform for amateur and professional artists to showcase their work and to date our events have contributed more than £3.8 million to creative communities.

We design programmes that resonate with children and young people, the outcomes providing a unique insight into the aspirations, hopes, and dreams of future generations. Our learning programmes have engaged over 1 million young people so far.

Where it all began

Wild in Art’s Story

It’s been 15 years since Wild in Art first came to the world’s attention with Go Superlambananas, part of Liverpool’s European Capital of Culture celebrations. Since then, we’ve gone on to animate cities across four continents including Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Christchurch, Cape Town and São Paulo.

Closer to home we’ve created public art trails for the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics, the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games and the Ryder Cup and developed events the length and breadth of the country. From our first national trail across Scotland and our first touring installation, Gratitude, to trails in Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff, we’ve been privileged to work with many wonderful partners in many different locations.

In 2023 we are looking forward to our first ever trails in Swindon, Leeds and Swansea and much much more.
