Our Swindog is inspired by the landscape of The Gambia in West Africa. The school has recently been working alongside other schools in the Blue Kite Academy Trust to raise money in helping the children of The Gambia to access education. Hence, the pupils have been looking at artwork and imagery from The Gambia and the vibrant and glorious shades moved them to create Saidou’s colour scheme. Not only does their artwork reflect the inspirational landscape, it also serves as a reminder that all children, all over the world, have the basic right to a fair education.
