What participating schools say

“We chose one design from each class and to see the children painting and drawing their designs onto the Swinpup is really exciting and we are loving it.”

Alison Tremlett, St Francis Church of England School

“The reaction from the children has been fantastic. They are having the opportunity to influence and support other vulnerable children in the community and be proud of Swindon as a place they live.”

Learning Programme Partner

The Big Dog Art Trail’s unique, creative learning adventure for children and young people is being supported by Swindon Borough Council, the trail’s official Learning Programme Partner.

“All children should have the opportunity to explore the arts and develop their creative skills with hands-on, real world experiences. Thanks to funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, we’re delighted to be supporting The Big Dog Art Trail and Julia’s House as the trail’s Learning Programme Partner. I’m very excited to see what our town’s budding young artists will create with their own Swinpups.”

Councillor Matty Courtliff, Swindon Borough Council
